Established in 1994, Trillium Village Collectors Club is one of Canada's oldest Department 56 collector clubs.  We are based in Toronto but have club members all over the province of Ontario.

The objective of our club is to provide a meeting place for club members to share the joy and excitement of their hobbies and to share display ideas featuring their favourite collectibles.  All collectors and retailers of Department 56 Village and Holiday products are welcome to join the club.  Club membership also includes an informative newsletter mailed physically or electronically to each club member every other month.  Membership form is available for download on the "About Us" page.

Trillium Village Collectors Club is a not-for-profit organization.  Although we appreciate support from our retailer members, the club is not affiliated with any Department 56 retailers.

Happy New Year!


Time sure flies when the end of the year is just around the corner.   I would like to wish each and every one a happy and healthy 2016.   Christmas came and blink, it was gone.   Hope every one was a good boy or girl this past year and received what they wish for from Santa.   I was probably a bad boy this past year Sad smile as I was dreaming of a white Christmas and instead got double digit above zero temperature here in Toronto. Smile

I have finally found some time to update this blog site.   In this update, you will find

  1. our annual holiday brunch is taking place on Sunday January 10 at the Mandarin restaurant in Brampton, Ontario?   There will definitely be good food and fantastic fellow collectors.   Hope you can join us.
  2. Department 56 has already announced their retirement list for 2015?   Click on these links and see for yourself which village and Snowbabies have been discontinued from production.  By the way, did you realize that all the pieces of both the Frozen Village and the Downton Abbey Village are now retired?   Wonder if there will be new pieces for these two villages in the new year.
  3. Department 56 is about to announce new introductions for 2016?   Apparently, there will be special pieces created for the 40th anniversary of Department 56 village collections.   There are accessory items such as Gazebos, Letters To Santa, Village Express Van and an Inn for the Little Town of Bethlehem.   Isn’t this exciting?!?!   Of course, there will be other “regular” new pieces coming out as well.   Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
