Trillium Village Collectors Club of Ontario: Welcome to 2020!!!

Established in 1994, Trillium Village Collectors Club is one of Canada's oldest Department 56 collector clubs.  We are based in Toronto but have club members all over the province of Ontario.

The objective of our club is to provide a meeting place for club members to share the joy and excitement of their hobbies and to share display ideas featuring their favourite collectibles.  All collectors and retailers of Department 56 Village and Holiday products are welcome to join the club.  Club membership also includes an informative newsletter mailed physically or electronically to each club member every other month.  Membership form is available for download on the "About Us" page.

Trillium Village Collectors Club is a not-for-profit organization.  Although we appreciate support from our retailer members, the club is not affiliated with any Department 56 retailers.

Welcome to 2020!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!! Welcome to the year in which its first two digits are the same as its last two digits. It has been awhile since that happened, eh!

So, you may ask “what has Department 56 done to celebrate this brand new year and brand new decade?” Well, lucky for you because the company has already released its 2020 January introduction on its web site. Click on this link to visit the Village page and this link to visit the Snowbabies page to see what new pieces await for us in Department 56 retailers this coming year.
Here are some of the highlights from the introduction: a model railroad shop, a pancake house, a skating rink around a cabin, a diner in the shape of a snowman, a record store, a north pole house in the Snow Village (!?), a new Snowbabies collection and the “Themyscira”

. Of course, there will also be new gift sets. Exciting, right?
