Established in 1994, Trillium Village Collectors Club is one of Canada's oldest Department 56 collector clubs.  We are based in Toronto but have club members all over the province of Ontario.

The objective of our club is to provide a meeting place for club members to share the joy and excitement of their hobbies and to share display ideas featuring their favourite collectibles.  All collectors and retailers of Department 56 Village and Holiday products are welcome to join the club.  Club membership also includes an informative newsletter mailed physically or electronically to each club member every other month.  Membership form is available for download on the "About Us" page.

Trillium Village Collectors Club is a not-for-profit organization.  Although we appreciate support from our retailer members, the club is not affiliated with any Department 56 retailers.

In Remembrance

In the past 12 months, our club had lost 3 of its long time members. We wish to dedicate this post to each of them.

jim 2Jim passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2021.   He and his wife Marlene have been members with the Trillium Village Collectors Club for close to 20 years.  Jim worked in the trucking industry for over 5 decades.   He was a handy man who was extremely proud with his well maintained lawn at home.  His cheery smile and warm personality is missed by all.

steve

On June 30th, 2022, Steve passed away with Lois, his wife of 59 years, by his side.  Steve and Lois joined Trillium Village Collectors Club in the first year of the club’s inception.  He was actively involved with the club and was elected as the Club President for a few years and Membership chairperson for many more.  Steve retired as a decorated Fire Captain for the Markham Fire Department and was loved by those who knew him.  How could anyone forget his hearty laughs and his wicked sense of humour?

ericEric passed away suddenly on August 19th, 2022.  He and his wife, Cherie, became members of the Trillium Village Collectors Club on July 1994.  Both Eric and Cherie actively participated as club executives.  He held the club’s Secretary position for many, many years (and thankfully, Cherie is still very much involved with the club’s operations to this date).  Eric was fondly remembered by many of his students as a fantastic Geography teacher in Kipling Collegiate in Etobicoke.  When you come to our club meetings, Eric was always the first one to greet you at the door. We will certainly miss his personable demeanor and friendly disposition.
